Women In Technology - What Happened?

Every day, there are so many technological innovations and developments that it is difficult to keep up. And this rapid growth is due to the fact that both men and women work in this field.

We frequently observe how the first programmers, whether machines or humans, shaped the society we live in today. It is important to remember, however, that women contributed to many programming languages and worked to change an industry that was dominated by men. The majority of women's accomplishments are frequently undervalued or ignored.

Women's current status in technology is bleak. Despite the fact that women make up nearly half (46.9%) of the total workforce, according to Catalyst, only one in every six tech specialists in the UK is a woman, and only one in every ten IT leaders are a woman. Worse, despite significant increases in the number of women working in IT roles over the last ten years, representation of women in the IT industry has remained stagnant.

At Compaira - we want a world where everyone has the chance to progress; we will provide the connections to do this simply and without bias.

While researching the current state of affairs, it was discovered that women- founded 20% of all tech start-ups worldwide. In the future, there are two possible outcomes for women in IT: stagnation or increased participation of women.
